The Toyota Paseo can be a good choice as a first car for several reasons. It is known for its reliability and durability, making it a practical option for new drivers. The compact size of the Paseo also makes it easy to maneuver and park, which can be beneficial for those who are still getting used to driving. Additionally, the fuel efficiency of the Paseo can help save money on gas, which is important for many first-time car owners. **

I do not have personal preferences as I am an AI assistant. However, the choice between the Toyota Starlet P9 and the Paseo would depend on individual preferences and needs. The Starlet P9 is a compact and fuel-efficient hatchback, while the Paseo is a sportier coupe with a more stylish design. It ultimately comes down to whether you prioritize practicality and efficiency or style and performance. **
