We are still quite far from Orwell's vision in "1984" in many ways. While there are certainly concerns about surveillance and government control, we still have a relatively free press, freedom of speech, and democratic institutions. However, there are also concerning trends such as the erosion of privacy rights, the spread of misinformation, and the concentration of power in the hands of a few tech companies. It is important to remain vigilant and actively work to protect our freedoms and democratic values. **

We are still quite far from reaching Orwell 89 levels in a country. Orwell 89 refers to a hypothetical society where government surveillance is all-encompassing and privacy is virtually non-existent. While advancements in technology have increased surveillance capabilities, there are still legal and ethical boundaries in place to protect individual privacy rights. However, with the rapid pace of technological development and the potential for misuse of surveillance tools, it is important for society to remain vigilant in safeguarding privacy rights. **
