Decayed teeth in cats can manifest in a few different ways. One common sign is bad breath, which can indicate the presence of dental decay and infection. Cats with decayed teeth may also show signs of pain or discomfort while eating, leading to a decrease in appetite or difficulty chewing. Additionally, you may notice drooling, pawing at the mouth, or even visible discoloration or damage to the teeth themselves. It's important to have your cat's dental health regularly checked by a veterinarian to prevent and address decayed teeth. **

While it is true that some decayed teeth may not hurt when pressure is applied, this is not always the case. The level of pain experienced can vary depending on the extent of decay, the location of the decay, and individual pain tolerance. In some cases, decayed teeth can be sensitive to pressure, especially if the decay has reached the inner layers of the tooth where the nerves are located. It is important to consult a dentist if you are experiencing any tooth pain or sensitivity, as it could be a sign of a more serious issue. **
